Preschool Pathways

Our Preschool Pathways classroom is designed for students whose birth-dates miss the cutoff in Georgia for Kindergarten.    Using a blend of Early Preschool and Preschool curriculum, the teachers work to meet the developmental needs of our older 2/younger 3 year old children.  This intentional, added step sets your child on a path to graduating to Kindergarten at the appropriate time.

Georgia Public School Cutoff:  September 1

Private School Cutoff:  Approximately May 1 (each school varies)

If your child has a fall or winter birthday (public school tract) or a summer birthday (private school tract) consult with your teachers and Education Coach to understand your child's Venture Program path at Primrose.

Preschool

Our Preschool classroom is designed for students who are 3 as of September 1.  Students will enter Preschool from either the Preschool Pathways classroom (fall/winter birth dates) or Early Preschool (spring/summer birth dates).  With an introduction to early literacy and math skills, the Preschool curriculum utilizes repetition and scaffolding to meet each child where they are in their development.

Students must be potty trained to transition into the Preschool classroom.
